This funny conception is actually peddled by the same Christians.Real stuff happen to people and Christians are also people, so what is this myth all about?Because you see a lady speaking in tongues and healing people around doesn’t mean she’s an angel. She has real problems, siblings to take care of, courses to register for, and she’s broke. Yeah, the Lord provides (He really does), but what of the pressure she faces while she’s waiting? How does she cope with the wicked advances from guys around? The handsome guy in your Church that teaches the Word of God with so much ease and understanding and you think he was imported from the third heavens also has stuff weighing on him. He’s got bills to pay, he lost his dad a couple of weeks ago and is battling depression. So the day he falls to a girl for comfort and sleeps with her in the process, you will not hesitate to open your mouth and say stuffs like, “It’s not like I’m condemning him, but what is the church turning into?”. That isn’t called for, you yourself might be battling with porn that you stumbled on by mistake or on a movie. Doesn’t it make you feel helpless when your mind is going crazy with lust?. We carry the misconception that Christians are superheroes, so they shouldn’t struggle with stuff. No! You have a Superhero in you. You are not one. Jesus bled on earth. Real blood. So who do you think you are not to be hurt? Go and find comfort in the secret place, shed your tears there and stop putting up an appearance. Jesus is the superhuman; us, just meat. So therefore, we should learn to not criticize Christian if they fall but instead we should pray for them, by so doing we are strengthening each other and the body of Christ.
